Ramšak tourist farm

The Pohorje forests are something special. Dark, rich and fragrant. In them there is an abundance of game and fruits, and the air you can breathe here is nothing but health. Drive therefore out of the valley, from Zreče towards Rogla and halfway along you will see beside the road a farm which is known locally as pri Ramšakovih. Stop and we will welcome you hospitably, for we are glad of everyone who visits us.

Let us first introduce ourselves, so that you will recognise us more easily when we meet: Jožica and Anton farm, and Tomaž likes to lend a hand with the everyday work.

When we were building the new house, we also thought of you, and so we arranged 6 rooms with 17 beds and a kitchen, where we prepare for you old, almost forgotten dishes such as potato and cheese štruklji, rolled potica, home-made  salamis, alongside which you will  nibble rye or fruit bread from the bread oven, take a bowl of soured milk to refresh yourself, or perhaps drink a glass of cider.

And what can you do with us? You can walk, gather medicinal herbs, mushrooms, blueberries, cycle, ride, play table tennis, basketball or badminton, in winter ski on  the well-kept Rogla ski resort, swim in Terme Zreče or help with farm work, if you wish.
