With modern systems of artificial snowmaking the Rogla ski resort guarantees skiing pleasures from late autumn to early spring. It guarantees skiers at least a hundred skiing days on exemplarily maintained slopes covered with natural and compact snow. On about 100 ha of maintained slopes for beginners, recreational skiers, top skiers and competitors there are 11 drag lifts, 2 four-seater chairlifts and several dozen kilometres of maintained runs for cross-country skiers.
Those who are not short of energy and adrenaline also do well on the obstacles in Fun park Rogla, the park for snowboarders and freestyle skiers, which runs along the left-hand side of the Mašin Žaga slope.
A special experience, from Thursday to Sunday, is night skiing on the floodlit Košuta and Jasa slopes. For those who know that it is never too late to learn, they also offer beginners' and advanced courses. Under the guidance of ski instructors you will discover how enjoyable skiing can be and how simple it is to master.
To enjoy the snow you do not need your own ski equipment, since at Rogla, in the equipment rental shop, they will dress you from head to toe. The youngest guests will be looked after in the ski kindergarten on the snow, where there are numerous playthings. By arrangement they also organise childcare. If there is some competitive spirit in you, you can always take on the recreational competition run at Mašin žaga. And for a pleasant end to the day they provide refreshments and entertainment in one of the catering establishments.
