Dutovlje is a village in the middle of the fertile part of the Karst, where on the red terra rossa the refošk vine thrives, from which teran is made, and beside it malvasia in the surrounding vineyards. Stone houses with portals and a compact village centre give the place its characteristic Karst appearance.
