In the immediate vicinity of Kozina with a view of the sea stands the tourist farm Pri Filetu Kozina. In the stable they have pigs, sheep, hens, the cat Miki and the dog Marko. Most guests, though, come because of the Lipizzaners (noble white horses) they have here.
We are also known for two excellent spirits with geographical protection that we produce: Karst juniper brandy and Brkini plum brandy.
The Jelušič family produce at home all the vegetables, pork, cured meat products and spirits; they cook an excellent jota, sauerkraut, baked polenta with mushrooms, potatoes with crackling, apple or cherry strudel.
Guests’ activities are mostly connected with horses. On the farm they organise beginners’ riding courses and day trips to the Škocjan Caves, the Dimnice cave; nearby are Lipica, Socerb Castle and Slavnik, you can gather medicinal herbs or set off hunting.
The Pri Filetu Kozina farm also offers you rooms and apartments for a pleasant break or a longer holiday.
