In a completely renovated homestead, where a well-known inn operated for more than a hundred years, there is now farm tourism with accommodation – Tourist farm pri Cepčovih Hrpelje Kozina. In four modernly furnished tourist rooms there are eight beds.
Our kitchen is rich in local and seasonal food; among other things we offer minestrone, gnocchi to the mother-in-law's recipe, various meats and mushrooms. The homestead can cater for 50 guests. We also accept orders for organised groups. By arrangement we also take care of an entertainment and music programme.
With its position in the middle of Čičarija, Golac is an ideal multi-day base both for cyclists, who can also hire bicycles here, and for excursionists and walkers. The place, where in the Middle Ages there was an important castle and which was known for sheep breeding, charcoal burning and distilling juniper brandy, is bounded to the south by four thousanders, accessible in all seasons, which exceed the better-known nearby Slavnik by a few metres. When the path leads through serene beech and pine forests to their summit, the view from there opens out towards the Alps and towards the sea.
