The vacation cottage at Goreljek lies 1279 meters above sea level on the beautiful plateau of Pokljuka. During winter the vacation cottage can easily be accessed by car from Bled through the village of Zgornje Gorje (20 km).

The cottage is only 150 m away from the ski slope at Jelka. It has a living room with two sofa beds, a kitchen with all the needed kitchen utensils, a bathroom with a toilette and two bedrooms at the upper floor (one with two, the other one with three beds). The cottage has running water, electricity and gets heated by a fireplace (additionally also with electricity). The bed linen and towels are included in the price, but guests must clean the cottage at their departure themselves.

During the summer Pokljuka is perfect for cycling andduring winter for cross-country skiing as several great cross-country skiing tracks are located across the plateau. Backcountry skiing is also possible at Debela peč, Mrežce, Viševnik and Veliki Draški vrh.

But plenty of natural attractions are also waiting to be explored: for example the swampland Goreljek (with a great educational path) and the Pokljuka Path, the frontal moraine of the Pokljuka glacier at Goreljek, the abyss at Medvedova konta, the Pokljuka gorge and the Pokljuka forest.

Cultural and historic attractions worth visiting while enjoying at Pokljuka: the St. Cross's Parish Church at Koprivnik, the beautiful architectural heritage on the mountain pastures at Pokljuka and the remains of medieval mining (at mountain meadows of Klek, Rudno polje and Lipanca).
