Description of path

Begin cycling at Kokrica by the Dežman boarding house and head past Mlaka toward Goriče. This part of the road is level. From Goriče, descend slowly toward Golnik. The ascent from Golnik to Križe is the only difficult part of the route. Once you reach Križe, turn left (signpost for Kranj) and left again after 300 meters (signpost for Kranj). Cycle through the villages Duplje and Žeje. At the end of Žeje, you'll see the freeway on the right. About a kilometer from Žeje, in front of the freeway underpass, turn left toward Strahinj. In Strahinj, follow the major road to the right and continue toward Naklo. Head past the Bolero pizzeria to the main road, where you should turn left onto the well-maintained cycling path by the main road. Once you reach the traffic light at Polica, turn left toward Kokrica. Alternatively, if you decide to take the road straight ahead, you'll eventually reach Kranj.
