Description of path

From Terme Zreče, proceed to the lower industrial zone, where a black coal mine was once located. From there, the road begins to slope upward toward the village of Gračič and, from here, to the summit of Brinjeva gora, first settled about 4000 years ago in the stone age. The area was settled by several different races, including the Celts and Romans. In the middle ages, it was the site of Freudenberg castle. Today, you can visit the church of the Holy Mother and the church of St. Agnes. Then, the route continues to the Zimrajh restaurant, where you have some coffee by a Roman graveyard. Continue among the grasslands and fields to Gorenje nad Zrečemi, where you can visit the church of St. Kunigunde from the year 1391, believed to have been built by the counts of Celje. Finally, return to Rogla via Planina and Padeški vrh.
