BRDO PRI KRANJU. IN A WORD: AMAZING

Brdo pri Kranju, a beautiful estate beneath the mountains, is the perfect place for protocol meetings at the highest level, congresses, conferences, official events and private ceremonies.

Located very close to Slovenia's capital city, the estate boasts a rich history. It is easily accessible via freeways or the Jože Pučnik Airport (Ljubljana). Thousands of species of flora and fauna are spread out over 50.

The greatest example of the estate's cultural heritage is the Renaissance manor. It is surrounded by several other structures: a new conference hall, a hotel that can accommodate conferences, a wellness center, a restaurant, a press center, a horseback riding center, a golf court, several cottages in the forest and hayracks in the meadows. Modern capacities and a team of professional, experienced employees can fulfill every wish and exceed all expectations.
 

The new congress center lies at the edge of the park, above the lake. In 2008, it was the center of the Slovenian presidency of the European Union Council.
 

The estate is managed by the Brdo Public economic institute, which also manages Strmol castle, the Podrožnik villa and the Slovenian government building.
 

Hotel Brdo

Surrounded by a well-maintained park, the Brdo Hotel is located right at the entrance to the old Brdo estate. Its helpful staff provides a complete range of high-quality services, including event planning and relaxation programmes.
 

The four-star accommodations include sixty double rooms, three single rooms, three handicapped-friendly single rooms, eleven apartments and one presidential suite. Each room has a bathroom with shower, air conditioning, mini-bar, phone and TV. The apartments also have a living room and bathroom with bathtub. The 172-m2 presidential suite consists of a bedroom, a living room, two work rooms, a dressing room and a bathroom. Guests can also take advantage of the modern relaxation center Vrelec Brdo.

The hotel's premises are suitable for various business events, meetings and celebrations. Events can also be organized in the other buildings and enriched by various additional offers. We are currently preparing several thematic packages to liven up events even further. The hotel also contains an Internet area with wireless Internet access using NeoWlan. Prepaid access cards are available at the hotel reception.

Restaurant of the Brdo hotel

Hotel Brdo is known for delicious cuisine prepared by a team of highly-trained chefs. Guests will find their lunch, dinner, business breakfast, reception, wedding party or any other meal at the restaurant to be an unforgettable experience.

If you are preparing an event, we will suggest a special list of dishes and wines just for you. We'll create a menu, plan the seating chart and even take care of the music. We can also accommodate vegetarians and guests with different eating habits or needs.

The restaurant has air conditioning and can seat up to 250 guests. Parts of it can be partitioned off, thus allowing several smaller groups to visit simultaneously without bothering each other. There is a piano in the center of the room that can liven up any meeting.

Brdo Congress center

The Brdo Congress center boasts about 9000 square meters of usable area. The main concourse is decorated with majestic works of art that are full of Slovenian symbols. The concourse connects to several halls equipped with the newest technical equipment. One especially attractive hall offers a lovely view of the entire estate through the glass walls. Besides the halls, the building also contains eight meeting rooms that can seat up to 12 people each as well as 32 completely furnished rooms for individual work.
 

The glass-clad center melds seamlessly with the natural treasures of the Brdo estate. Its technical equipment allows it to be adapted perfectly to any needs. It has everything required for modern multimedia work and complete wireless Internet coverage. Different configurations of the furnishings and equipment can make any room suitable for congresses, conferences, business meetings and other events.
 

The center's halls are named after dragonflies, one of the many fascinating animal species that make their home on the estate.
