Description of path

From Rogla, head down to the valley. After a short while, turn off the road and take the macadamized road Pohorska cesta to Skomarje, the village with the highest elevation in Slovenia. It is also the birthplace of poet and singer Jurij Vodovnik. In the middle of the village, you can see the Pohorje house, a typical example of traditional regional architecture. The church of St. Leonard is also worthy of your attention. Heading past the Arbajter deer farm, cycle to the village of Resnik which stretches along the entire Pohorje ridge. The pride of the village is the church of St. Jacob. Once you cross the Zreče - Rogla main road, the route begins to ascend slightly toward Jurgovo, the final checkpoint of your route. From the Jurgovo apartment building, return to Rogla by way of Pesek.
