Potočka zijalka - presentation
On the southern slopes of the Olševa mountain you can find the entrance to a cave where stone age hunting tribes lived about 30,000 or 40,000 years BC.
The entire area is an archaeological and paleontological site of great importance; skeletons of 40 different animal species (including the cave bear), over 130 bone arrowheads and many other stone age tools have been excavated here.
These items are stored at the Regional museum in Celje.
