To set off from the in front of the TIC, and to head in the direction of Celje. At the petrol station Petrol to take the right turn and go across the bridge in the direction of Jagoče. Rightwards the road gently ascends almost to the end of the hamlet where, behind the house No.14, one should turn left at the fork and downhill to ride on an asphalted road to get to the bank of the Savinja river. To continue on an asphalted road and when crossing the gully Brstniški graben to turn left uphill. A 1.7 km ascent follows up to the pass until turning right and down it goes into the valley. Entering the valley it continues on a macadamized road along the railway line towards Celje. When at the three-tunnel railway underpass to turn right through the tunnel bearing the sign Celjska koča on its wall. Good 7 km of ascent to follow up to the Hotel Celjska koča. At any road fork or crossroads the signpost – Celjska koča is to be considered. The Hotel Celjska koča is situated at the elevation of 652 m and operates all year round. An uphill walk to Tovsti vrh (834 m) would take us 20 minutes. From Celjska koča to continue by a macadamized road to the Svetina direction. At the bus-stop one should turn right on an asphalted road to the Jagoče direction. A 700 m downhill ride arrives to the fork to bend sharply to the left on a macadamized road. The road ascends for 3 km leading past Požnica as far as Reka. At the end of the ascent, an asphalted road begins and turns right at the bus-stop to cross a small bridge and to continue on the road to Reka and further on to Lahomno. In Lahomno, on the road Šentrupert – Laško, it would turn right to the Laško direction and keep cyclists pedalling past Marija Gradec to the point of departure.
From Celjska koča to set out also for Svetina where the Church of Marija Snežna, dating as far back as 1489, is situated.
