The Stari vrh ski slope lies in the Škofja Loka mountains between the valleys of Poljanska dolina and Selška dolina. It is surrounded by Stari vrh (1217 meters), Mladi vrh (1374), Koprivnik, Blegoš and Lubnik. You can get there from Škofja Loka via Praproten (10 kilometers) or via Poljane and Javor (20 kilometers). Stari vrh is visited mostly by recreational skiers. Recreational, national and FIS tournaments are sometimes organized. More than half the slopes can be covered by artificial snow.
