Because the ski resort KANIN is closed, all the ski fans in BOVEC can take a ski bus (if road conditions are favorable) to the Italian ski resorts of SELLA NEVEA and TARVISIO. Ski bus stops are as follows: hotel Mangart - hotel Sanje ob Soči - hotel Dobra Vila - market Martinov hram - Kaninska vas - hotel Alp - hotel Kanin - bus station Dvor - Sella Nevea - Tarvisio. Call Mr. Etvin Berginc (00386 41 647 867) and reserve your bus seat now (reservations can be made daily until 6 pm for the following day).
Kanin Ski center - presentation
The connected ski resort KANIN-SELLA NEVEA is the first cross-border ski center in the wider region. With its new cableway and piste, the two ski resorts have become one. The connected KANIN ski resort will operate with a single ski pass, enabling access from both the Slovenian (Bovec) and Italian (Sella Nevea) sides of the mountain. There is no higher ski resort in the area, nor is there one with such a long skiing season – until the beginning of May.
