Škocjan

The Škocjan municipality lies on the border between the Posavska and Dolenjska regions, between the Krško hills and the Krakovski gozd forest, where the Krka river widens into the spacious Krško polje plain. The rolling landscape, unspoiled nature and rich cultural heritage guarantee that tourists will never be bored here. Some of the amazing things to see include the ethnological park Zagraški log, Zavinek (decorated by thousands of lights for Christmas) and Bučka with its intricate net of walking trails, wine hills and festivals for everyone.
