Rogatec

Rogatec lies in the area where the southern Haloze foothills give way to the green Posotelje valley. Squeezed between Donačka gora and the Sotla river, it hides many small yet valuable natural, cultural and historical treasures.It is known for one of the first outdoor museums, Strmol castle, a primeval forest at Donačka gora and the source of the Sotla river.
