Solčava

The Solčava municipality lies by the upper part of the Savinja river in the heart of the Savinjske Alps. The area is divided into three famous valleys: Logarska dolina, Matkov kot and Robanov kot. These valleys are home to numerous natural and cultural sights, such as the the source of the Savinja river, the Potočka zijalka cave and shepherds' huts – all part of the Logarska dolina Landscape park. Because of all these attractions, the area is a popular trip destination.
