Brnik

Located inside the Cerklje na Gorenjskem municipality, the international airport at Brnik represents Slovenia's most important connection with the rest of the world. Residents of this town at the juncture of the Ljubljana basin and the high mountains of the Kamniško-Savinjske Alps are used to planes landing and taking off throughout the day. The first thing that foreign visitors see when arriving in Slovenia is an aerial view of the beautiful landscape with forests, grasslands, small villages and high mountains in the background.
