Zgornja Kungota

Kungota lies north of Maribor in the western hills of Slovenske gorice, where the many streams have carved steep valleys into the land. It is a place of warm sun and soft morning autumn mist. The sunny sides of the hills are dotted with vineyards and fruit orchards, the sunless sides with forests and the low lands with fields. All of them are linked by interesting hiking and cycling trails, and there is even a wine museum.
