The Kope mountain tourism center lies in the westernmost and highest part of Pohorje. Pine trees spread all the way to the top, interspersed by farms. The alpine grasslands between the forests turn to ski slopes during the winter. Snow covers the grass as early as November and usually lasts until late spring. The rolling terrain offers trails for both beginners and experienced skiers, with its longest slope boasting a length of 1400 meters and a height difference of 500 meters. When the mountain is not covered by snow, it is visited by hikers and those who enjoy gathering mushrooms or berries
