The Duplek municipality lies on the northwestern edge of Slovenske gorice, where the vineyard-covered hills descend toward the banks of the Drava river. It is a mostly hilly area with some flat land by the Drava. The wine and fruit roads guide visitors through the municipality. Trips, walks, handcrafted goods, beekeeping, vineyards, fruit orchards, the Drava Nature Park, the Kamenščak Nature Park, Vurberk castle, wine shops and tourist farms all contribute to the area's tourism. Fans of ski jumping can find several ski jumps in the village of Jablance.
