This thousand-year-old city by the confluence of the two Sora rivers in the heart of the Škofja Loka hills is the economic, administrative and cultural center of the region. Visitors will find many impressive sights such as the Škofja Loka castle, the old town hall, the Žigon house, the Špital house and the Capuchin bridge. Today, the castle houses the collections of the city museum where the historical, cultural, artistic, ethnological and natural wonders of the area can be admired.
