Kozje

The Kozje municipality spreads over the hills of eastern Slovenia. During the Middle Ages, three towns developed in this area: Kozje, Podsreda and Pilštanj. All three have retained their image with traditional architecture and events. Nearly the entire municipality is inside the Kozjansko Regional Park, whose primary purpose is the preservation of the area's natural and cultural heritage.
