Grad

The Grad municipality can be found in the far northeast of Slovenia, amid the green hills of Goričko. Atop this basaltic hill proudly stands the largest Slovenian castle, Grad, with 365 rooms. The nearby Plečnik church of St. Marija Vnebovzeta is definitely one of the most beautiful monuments in the region. The rolling hilly terrain offers plenty of possibilities for trips, cycling and hiking. The Goričko National Park takes care of promoting and protecting the natural and cultural heritage of the area.
