Description of path

- Selo (Rotunda + educational nature trail): The Rotunda is a round church of St. Nicholas, built in the 13th century, and is considered a true work of art. Its architectural features and murals make it one of the most important Romanesque monuments in Slovenia. - Kobilje (museum): Kobilje is an idyllic village. In house no. 189 (built in the traditional style), you can find an ethnographic museum. You can also visit the church of St. Martin, which stands in the shadow of the oldest and largest wild service tree (Sorbus terminalis) in Slovenia. Bukovnik lake (energy spots): The spring of St. Vid near picturesque Bukovnik lake has recently become a popular leisure spot. You can find about fifty energy spots in a 450-meter circle, most of them clearly marked. The attendants at the local information office will be happy to provide you with a map. The spots vary depending on their purpose (the type of illness that they mitigate). - Filovci (pottery): the village of Filovci is best known for its rich pottery tradition. The creations of the local masters go far beyond mere functionality and make an important, aesthetic addition to any home. - Bogojina (Plečniks church): the famous church of the Lords Ascension, designed by the architect Jože Plečnik. It sports an unusual round bell tower and is certainly worthy of your attention.
