The Trenta museum - presentation
The Trenta Museum and Triglav National Park Museum present the cultural landscape, nature and life in Trenta in the past.
The Trenta Lodge in Log welcomes all visitors who wish to learn about the Triglav National Park, its flora, fauna, culture, geology, geomorphology and hydrology. The Trenta museum contains impressive exhibitions of the Trenta valley's ethnic, cultural and historical heritage. A reconstruction of a Trenta house with its black kitchen shows how people in this area once lived.
Several items used by mountaineering pioneers during their expeditions are also on display, and photographs of renowned mountain guides and detailed literature further illustrate the wonders of the mountains.
