The Šentjur municipality stretches all the way from Drameljske gorice to Kozjansko and the peaks of Bohorje. The hilly landscape is perfect for fruit growing and viticulture, and the relatively well-preserved nature offers many opportunities for actively spending your free time: cycling, hiking and horseback riding. Sights such as the Slivniško jezero lake, Pasque flowers at Ponikva, the Rifnik castle and archeological park, the birth house of A. M. Slomšek, the museum of the southern railroad and ethnological collections invite you to explore them.
