Descrizione della strada
You have a choice of several possible starting points: Hodoš, Šalovci, Gornji Petrovci or any of the other towns on the route. This guide will begin the journey in Hodoš, where you can visit an evangelical church, taste the local wines or take a rest by lake Hodoš, where you will be greeted by swans and perhaps even otters. Next, proceed along a macadamized road that will take you along the edges of a forest to Dolenci and then to Budinci. From Budinci, descend to Markovci and through the valley of the Velika Krka river to Čepinci. In Markovci, you can stop at the Žido - Lenarčič mill, where you can also get something to eat. In čepinci, ascend to Špic Breg and descend down the forest road to the Lenarčič mill in Neradnovci. After taking a road full of short ascents and descents through Šulinci, ascend to Gornji Petrovci. Here, you can visit both an evangelical church (near the primary school) and the catholic church of the Holy Trinity on Nedeljski breg, which is also an excellent vista point. In Gornji Petrovci, cross the railroad tracks once again. After a few more ascents and descents, you should arrive in Križevci, where you should visit an impressive 700-year-old chestnut tree on Tetajni breg. Then, proceed among the orchards and vineyards through Panovci to Kančevca, where you will have a good view of the Prekmurje plain. The route continues past a church and a spirituality center to Ratkovci, where you can try the sweet cakes, and onward to the mill in Berkovci. In Ivanjševci, you will be warmly greeted by the beekeepers who will be all too happy to show you around their apiaries, provide you with some wax souvenirs and offer you some mead. From Ivanjševci, head for Domanjševci, where you can visit a catholic and an evangelical church. The latter is famous for its impressive southern entrance. After you have had a good look at the two churches, proceed among the fields and forests toward Krplivnik. While cycling, keep an eye out for deer and numerous pheasants. In Krplivnik, you have the option of visiting the ethnographic museum and the eco-house as well as refreshing yourself at a clean natural spring. A modern overpass will take you over the railroad tracks and back to Hodoš. You can shorten the route by heading from Markovci to Domanjševci through Šalovci (in the Frim forest, you will find the Frim well and several rare plant species). The road goes through forests and along rolling, hilly terrain with several and descents. You will also pass by the tourist farm in Šalovci, where you can rest, refresh yourself and take a look at the domestic animals.
