Descrizione della strada

The longest, circular route begins in the Domžale sports park. Carefully proceed through the city streets, avoiding the traffic on your way to Groblje. The traffic becomes more sparse as you cross the Mengeš-Domžale plain and head for Mengeš through the Lime avenue. Make your way through the city to the field roads, which will take you to Homec. After cycling through Radomlje and Rova, leave the Domžale township and enter the Lukovica township. After crossing the main road (highway), a calm ride past Videm and Dole to the Moravče township awaits. After that, you will need to overcome a fairly difficult ascent (with an impressive view) past Podbrdo to Javoršica and Konfin, where you can take a well-deserved break. After resting, you will proceed along the southern part of the Domžale township and partially through the area of Dol pri Ljubljani. Pass Vinje on your way toward Ihan, cross the Kamniška Bistrica and return to the starting point along the banks of the river past the villages of Bišče and Mala Loka.

You can turn off the road to several popular outing destinations. However, most of them do not lie close to the route and will require you to backtrack (Studenec outdoor theatre, castles of Tuštanj, Brdo, Kolovec, Turnše, Črnelo, churches of Sv. Miklavž, Homec, Groblje). Sports enthusiasts and other fit cyclists will find a special challenge in the ascents to Limbarska gora and Murovica. The circular route is suitable for a day trip.
