The organic tourist farm pri Lovrču Čadrg offers visitors to our farm, besides cheese and sweet and salted curd cheese, also pear brandy, seasonal vegetables and walnuts.
On our farm you can spend a lovely holiday or a relaxing end to a demanding working week. On the farm we have in fact set up 2 apartments and we have a registered supplementary activity for farm tourism.
As an excursion farm we can also serve you, by prior arrangement, a lunchof the kind we prepare in the Tolmin hills. In summer we can receive 60 guests on the farm, in winter 25.

»We make organic cheese from the milk of cows that graze on our unspoilt pastures,« Marija Bončina explains with a smile. She goes on to explain that in Čadrg almost all the farms are included in organic inspection. Such milk processing does require a good deal of administration, but neither she nor her fellow villagers can imagine doing it any other way. The satisfaction of offering a healthy product outweighs all the difficulties. She is glad that the number of ecologically aware consumers in Slovenia is growing.
We decided to convert to organic processing in 1999. Two years later we received the “Organic farm” certificate. We market all our products under the trademark for organically produced food “BIODAR”. Besides the cheese “Sir Tolminc” and sweet and salted albumin curd cheese, we also offer visitors to our farm hen eggs, pear brandy, seasonal vegetables and walnuts.
