Petra Tavern

Taverna Petra Gorenja vas is located on the main road Škofja Loka — Žiri (Cerkno). We offer you daily fresh snacks, various kinds of pizza, Sunday lunches, salads, desserts and other à la carte dishes.

We also take bookings for private parties of up to 60 people. In summer we also serve in the summer garden, and children can have fun on children's play equipment. We also offer meal delivery. 

Every day we prepare for you hot snacks and Sunday lunches. We also offer a varied choice of food, available in our menu.

THE CYCLING LOOP of the municipality of Gorenja vas – Poljane
 

In Taverna Petra cyclists receive cards with the marked control points, in which they enter the stamps of the cycling circuit. The control points are marked on the map. When they have collected all 16 stamps, that is, after cycling the whole route of the circuit, the cyclists receive a prize.

The cycling circuit of the municipality of Gorenja Vas – Poljane runs roughly along the boundaries of our municipality and seeks out the finest, most attractive points and the points with the best view, where a cyclist can stop, look around, rest and take refreshment.

The total length of the cycling loop is 115km, with 3400 metres of ascent and descent.
