In the village of Markovščina, by the main road, you are awaited by the family inn BAŠA in Materija, Kozina, where you will be served excellent home-made game dishes (roe deer, red deer) and home-made gnocchi. As a speciality they prepare venison goulash from old recipes.
Of course, the other meat delicacies are not missing either, such as roast veal and pork, various steaks, čevapčiči …home-made jota, sauerkraut and sausages!
