The Želinc farm, Cerkno, spreads out on a flat area that is just far enough from road noise but easily accessible. Beside the renovated 500-year-old farmhouse we have arranged accommodation units in a newly built building.
Single and double rooms and a smaller apartment are available. All rooms have a bathroom with a shower and are furnished in country style, some also have their own balcony with a seating area. The rooms have a wonderful view of nature and the surrounding hills.
The tourist farm is categorised with four apples and is a member of the houses with tradition, whose mark represents homeliness, tradition and a recognisable character throughout the whole infrastructure.
In the summer months a pool is also available at the tourist farm, where you can cool off or enjoy the cool shade under the tree canopies. The pool lies in the middle of our garden, with a view of the surrounding hills, the green pastures and the orchard with the apiary. Available from May to the end of September.
In the lower rooms of the farm a smaller wellness area is available, where on colder days you can warm up in one of the saunas or simply enjoy the relaxing murmur of water and a gentle full-body massage. It has an infrared sauna, a Finnish sauna and a whirlpool.
In a pleasant family setting you will feel good, sleep peacefully and comfortably and eat excellently. In two rooms seating 60 in total and in the summer garden with 70 seats you will be able to enjoy home-made food, which we also enliven with old house dishes.
The Želinc tourist farm is also suitable for holidays with the family, as children can play on our meadows and in the children's playground.

In north-western Slovenia, at the confluence of the rivers Cerknica and Idrijca, in the immediate vicinity of the roads Cerkno-Idrija-Tolmin, you will find the Želinc farm.

On the tourist farm we can also serve you simple home-made dishes in the old farmhouse, in the vaulted cellar just beneath it or outside in the garden under a century-old lime tree and chestnut. In the well-kept cellar of our farm we can entertain a smaller group of up to 20 guests with excellent home-made platters, for whom we can also prepare a tasting of wines from the nearby wine-growing districts.
Or you can join Jernej and Marta in creating local, home-made dishes. You can learn to prepare Idrija žlikrofi, bakalca, house štruklji, ...

The landscape offers enormous possibilities for an active holiday. On the farm you can borrow bicycles, set off on foot to the apiary for apitherapy, a little higher across the nearby hills, or set off for fly fishing on the river Idrijca.
In winter you can visit the family-friendly Cerkno ski resort, which is only a 15-minute drive from the tourist farm.
