Penzion Merkež Bizeljsko is a small family guesthouse that grew on the site of an old farmhouse from 1868. And it preserves its appearance in its exterior. The interior furnishing is in rustic style, the details carefully chosen so that guests may feel the tradition and the touch of old times. We accommodate guests in four stylishly furnished rooms and one apartment, and they can choose between accommodation only, bed and breakfast, half or full board. The rooms are named after old grape (vine) varieties: gutedel, green silvaner, moravna and rumeni plavec. Ana's apartment is a tribute to the former mistress of the house. The living area is furnished with furniture from Ana's dowry.
Guests staying with us who have booked in advance (up to 50 people) we spoil with dishes from grandmother's cookbook and home-grown bizeljčan wine, served beneath the vaults of the wine cellar. As a welcome we offer crackling flatbread or Bizeljsko buckwheat potica.
An easy walk to the repnica cellar among the vineyards opens up a wonderful view of Bizeljsko and the Sotla valley.
