It is located in Bela krajina, on the sunny side of the mountain barrier of the Gorjanci and the Kočevski rog. It lies right on the bank of the lowland stretch of the Kolpa River, which with its rapids, tributaries, waterfalls and variety represents an exceptional natural treasure.

On the Fortunovi tourist farm, which boasts a certificate for organic production, they do not otherwise serve food, but they enable guests to purchase produce grown on the farm. The choice is varied and diverse, since a visitor can buy: eggs, lambs, kids, ducks, turkeys, chickens …
A visit to the farm is suitable for all who like the varied landscape along the river Kolpa. At the farm you can hire a sandolin for paddling on the Kolpa, bicycles, diving equipment ….
The hosts will gladly invite you to feed the farm animals and watch them.
If you wish, you can sleep in the hayloft, and a visit to the forest a few kilometres away, which boasts an abundance of forest inhabitants, is also interesting. In any case, a stay on the farm is also suitable for all those who enjoy discovering and getting to know the near and far surroundings.

It lies on the very bank of the lowland course of the river Kupa, which with its rapids, tributaries, waterfalls and playfulness represents exceptional natural wealth. You can stay in a room with a kitchen and a bathroom, the so-called »studio«, which is the modernly and ingeniously converted dwelling of the miller who once lived on the farmstead, when the mill still served its purpose. On the farm they do not serve food to guests, but they offer the purchase of home-produced foodstuffs, produced in accordance with the strict rules of the organic method of cultivation, which they prove with a certificate for organic production.The choice is varied: you can buy eggs, lambs, kids, ducks, turkeys, chickens…A stay on this rural farmstead is suited to all who would like to enjoy the variety of the landscape along the river Kupa. The river is also suited to fishing. You can hire a sandolin for rowing on the river, or a bicycle. The area is favourable for lovers of cycling. The hosts will gladly invite you feeding the domestic animals. You can sleep in the hayloft; the nearby forest is also interesting, a couple of kilometres away, with many forest animals.
