Description of path

From Zali Log, enter the valley of the Davča river. At first, you will cycle through a narrow valley, but turn right just before the gorge to begin a challenging ascent - to 1000 meters above sea level. Continue along the ridge and descend past the refreshment place. Continue to the Davča falls, then head back a bit and pass the farms of Jurež, Majdelc and Podhočar on your way to Petrovo Brdo. You can extend the route by descending to Baška grapa - first to the Robar farm, then around Črni vrh to Podbrdo. You can then return to the hut on Petrovo Brdo via the old Austrian road, located above the modern road in the Mlečni potok gorge. The way past Robar to Podbrdo is of special interest to history enthusiasts - there are several bunkers in the area, built by Italians around 1920 to guard the newly formed border. From Petrovo Brdo, you can descend to your starting point along the well-maintained road of Zadnja Sora. Those of you who have not had enough yet should continue in the direction of Sorica to Podrošt.
