Description of path
The route begins at Aqualuna. Cycle along the main road past the Ciril boarding house. Once you reach the intersection, turn right toward Vonarje. The road leads along a rolling valley by the shore of the empty lake Sotelsko jezero. On the left, you can see the church of St. Areh and the village Nimno. Keep going to the village Rajnkovec, where you have several options. You can turn right and return using the road on the Croatian side of the border. You'll need a passport or ID card to cross the border. You can also continue to the end of Rogaška Slatina, known for its three springs: Tempel, Donat and Styria, first mentioned in the 12th century. You can also take a look at the baths building with the beautiful Attems hall, built in 1847. It is also known as the »crystal hall«. Once you've rested and admired the wonders of Rogaška, cycle to the roundabout for Celje, turn back and return to Podčetrtek.
