Borovnica

Borovnica covers the southwestern edge of the Ljubljana moor. In the middle of the city lie the remains of a support beam from a 500-meter stone railroad bridge, one of the greatest technical achievements of the 19th century. The romantic Pekel gorge is only an hour's walk from Borovnica. Paths, bridges and steps lead past the falls, and the forest trails are perfect for mountain cycling.
