The Naklo municipality unites thirteen settlements between Udin Boršt and Dobrava and between the Bistrica and Sava rivers. Naklo lies five kilometers northeast of Kranj in the middle of a dry valley where the Tržiška Bistrica once flowed. The municipality is adorned by dark forests, green pastures, ploughed fields, flower-decorated homes, churches with beautiful works of art and several historical landmarks, including the Duplje manor, the Vogvar house and the medieval fortification Tabor.
