Domžale

Domžale is only about 15 kilometers away from Ljubljana, on the Bistrica plain beneath the Kamnik mountains. Two major factors have contributed to the historical development of Domžale: straw hat production and the water turbine on the Mlinščice canal that provided electricity for the Ladstätter factory. Today, Domžale is known for the ethnic rock festival, fairs and Castle Krumperk.
