The Dornava manor, considered to be one of the most beautiful manors in the Štajerska region, is also one of the most beautiful non-religious late baroque buildings in the country. Each of its owners added on to it. The Attems family expanded the castle with pavillion wings, organized the park and gave it a baroque appearance. The interior is marked by the central two-storey festival hall decorated by scenes from the life of the ancient hero Heracleus.
All the other rooms in the castle are also impressive – decorated with stuccowork and tapestries and furnished with rococo furniture. Neptune's well stands proudly in the center of the courtyard, surrounded by a small army of baroque sculptures depicting dwarves and ancient celebrities.
